Otocinclus spp. are small sucker-mouthed catfish in the same family as the popular Plecos. Otos are renowned for their appetite for algae. They are especially good at cleaning the leaves on aquarium plants and other places that larger cleaning fish cant get at. As schooling fish, Otos need to be kept in groups to feel comfortable.
