A 2-day, in-depth, fly fishing class to get familiar with everything you need to know to be comfortable fly fishing on your own.

On Thursday evenings, well meet from 6-9 in the shop. Well cover gear, bugs and flies, knots and more. On Saturday, well meet on the water from 10-2. There well practice casting, spotting fish, reading water, and identifying bugs.

Classes will cover trout and some warm water fishing. The Saturday class will take place at a park where we have the best odds of catching fish depending upon current conditions. This may be a trout stream, or a lake for panfish.

All gear is provided for class. You will need to purchase a fishing license if you will be fishing on Saturday. Please wear water-friendly pants and shoes on Saturday. Waders and boots will be provided if needed.
