The Hobie Twist & Stow Rudder Adapter replaces your Hobie rudder with a Bixpy Rudder and enables you to attach your J-2 or K-1 Motor to your kayak’s rudder assembly. Steering is done using your Hobie steering system.

Includes: Hobie Twist & Stow Rudder blade and All hardware required will be on your existing Hobie Rudder

Compatible with J-2 and K-1 Motors.

This rudder adapter is ONLY compatible with Hobie Twist and Stow rudders.

That includes Hobie Sport Kayaks, Hobie Revolution Kayaks, Hobie Outbacks (pre-2019), and Hobie Oasis Kayaks. Not recommended on Inflatable Hobie Kayaks and this adapter won’t fit Hobie Pro Angler, Passport, Compass, 2019+ Outbacks, and Island Series kayaks.
