If you’d like to rig your own spreader bars, we have you covered! Our spreader bars feature 5 swivels (4 wings, 1 main chain). We construct these bars from spring stainless steel, and high grade stainless barrel swivels that are small in size for their strength. We offer these in different sizes and two bar stock diameter “weights” to accommodate the water drag of different lure configurations. These are meant to be rigged the way that we rig our custom bars here in house. We usually recommend Light bars for”lighter” rigging (ie. shell squids without birds). The Heavy bars work well with heavier rigging when using splash birds,and/or full size green machines. In general, the longer the bar – the more flex it has, and the heavier (larger diameter) the bar stock – the less flex it has.
